A man upon the hill

 Upon a giant hill, in solitude he resides,

A lonely man who's lost in the depths of his cries.

With a broken heart, shattered and torn,

He longs for the lover he loved and still mourns.

An angel used to live, once by his side,

A love so pure, with wings that stretched wide.

But wings cannot bind, and feelings can fade,

Now he dwells in memories, where love once laid.

Yet threads of hope tie his weary soul,

That one day his angel will return home.

And so, he tends the garden, with utmost care,

The same garden angel used to walk, unaware.

Flowers bloom and petals unfold,

A testament to love, a story untold.

He tends to every rose, every vibrant hue,

In hopes that his angel will someday pass through.

Every dusk, the sun sets upon the horizons vast,

And dances the shadow that the memories cast,

He gazes at the stars, a twinkle in his eye,

Wishing upon them, to the heavens, he sighs.

In the silence of the night, his heart still yearns,

For the angel's gentle touch and loving returns.

His days filled with longing, his nights with despair,

Yet he clings to the hope that she'll someday repair.

The wind whispers secrets as it caresses his face,

Echoes of lost love, his heart tries to chase.

He smiles, though tears may fall like rain,

For he knows that love's journey is never in vain.

So, the lonely man holds on to the flame,

With unwavering faith in love's powerful game.

And if fate deems it so, they shall reunite,

In a love that transcends, boundless and bright.
